Dr. Said holds a doctorate in Molecular Biology from USC. He is a renowned world authority on hair color. He’s been  employed by some of our industry's most prestigious companies where he was involved in the development of several successful products currently on the market (Redken’s Shades EQ, Wella’s Magma, just to name a few). Currently he is the founder and president of L’Avant Garde, Inc., a company thriving on innovative technologies in the field of Hair Color  & Hair Care.

Dr. Said is the holder of severa patents and the author of many scientific articles in the fields of  hair molecular structure and human physiology. He is an educator for the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists (ABCH), a regular contributor to several industry publications, and a great source of help for our industry’s professionals.

  Dr. Said can unravel the mystery of hair color chemistry and provide answers to a wide range of chemical and technical questions. He has the ability to take a complex subject and explain it in layman terms in a clear concise understandable manner.
